X-ray systems are used in the screening of mail, baggage and freight for dangerous or contraband items, explosives and drugs.

Equipped with leading edge functionalities to support security staff, X-ray technology has been instrumental in exposing details hidden from the human eye. Radiation, detection and image processing technologies instantly deliver superb images of scanned objects whilst maintaining the highest possible level of operator safety.

Alberta has been responsible for the installation of X-ray inspection units in places such as the Malta International Airport and the Customs Couriers Section. These systems have low radiation and offer extensive benefits such as scanning and quality image processing.
