Libya National Oil Well Drilling

Alberta provided the Libya National Oil Well Drilling and Workover company with a major fire hydrant and sprinkler system for the company site 103A in the Libyan Desert.

The project required the installation of a high pressure system, including underground and surface pipework with pillar hydrants and ring mains, complemented by a vast sprinkler system and a high performance fire pump.

A sprinkler system was also required in three large warehouses and a ring main system was installed on the perimeter of the site. This consisted of 2.5km of pipework, 16 hydrants and the installation and commissioning of a fire pump set.
